About Nail Fungus
Nail fungus (medically known as Onychomycosis) is an infection of the nail, most commonly with the mold Trichophyton rubrum (the same agent responsible for the condition known as “Athlete’s Foot”). It is a difficult infection to treat. It will not clear up on its own and almost always spreads to other nails if left untreated. The disease causes thickened, ugly and curved nails which distort the skin under the nail and can result in painful ingrown nails.

  1. I like the idea that the toenail fungus is probably not a toenail fungus. Many people assume that they have it, when 9/10 they do not. Also if their treatment is not working, we have found that making sure that they are actually using the treatment in the most effective way also helps and have increased cure rates.
    Thanks
